Our Events

Lighthearted murder mysteries blending clever intrigue with laugh-out-loud comedy.

All our murder mysteries are written as light-hearted comedies, designed to bring laughter as well as intrigue to any occasion. They’re perfect for large groups of up to 150 people, as well as small private gatherings with a minimum of eight participants. These events work brilliantly for fundraising evenings, corporate team-building sessions, or simply a fun night with friends.

Each mystery features eight character roles, and members of your group get to bring those characters to life. We usually take on the role of the police, guiding the investigation while keeping the atmosphere entertaining. The experience is fully interactive — those not playing main parts can still join in by questioning suspects, examining clues and helping solve the crime.

If you choose one of our existing titles, the cost is £100 plus travel expenses, with more titles being added soon. For a bespoke and personalised mystery written especially for your event, the price is £200 plus travel.

We supply everything needed: printed clues, character sheets, ‘whodunnit' forms and certificates of participation. We also provide a complete PA system with microphones, all electrically PAT tested for safety.

All you need to do is book the venue, arrange ticket sales, and organise any catering — leave the rest to us and simply enjoy the adventure!

Before the Event

Select your mystery, email your event details, and allow a month for perfect preparation.

Once you’ve chosen your murder mystery, simply contact us by email with the details of when and where your event will take place. We ask for at least one month’s notice to ensure everything is prepared to the highest standard.

After receiving your booking, we’ll send you a list of the eight characters featured in your selected mystery, along with costume suggestions and clear guidance on what is expected from each volunteer. You can then choose your participants and pass on all the information they need.

Two weeks before the event, we will provide you with the scripts for your volunteers so they have plenty of time to familiarise themselves with their roles.

You’re free to decide on any catering arrangements for the evening, and we kindly ask to be included in the catering as well. If your event involves ticket sales, you can set the ticket price and choose how you wish to sell them.

We also recommend purchasing two small prizes, one for the correct solution and one for the most entertaining or imaginative answer. These don’t need to be expensive, and we’re happy to offer suggestions.

Once we know your catering plans, we can discuss and finalise the timings of the event to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Volunteers Welcome

Thanks for volunteering - no nerves needed, no lines to memorise, full support provided, and plenty of time to prepare and enjoy.

First of all, thank you for volunteering. We’re certain you’ll have a fantastic time. There’s absolutely no need to feel nervous; we’ll be there to guide and support you throughout the entire evening.

You won’t need to learn any lines in advance. In fact, part of the fun is that even you won’t know whether you’re the murderer until the big reveal! When you’re not involved in a scene, you can relax and sit with your friends — most of your participation will come in short, enjoyable segments. Each suspect has an opening statement, a brief conversation with one other character, and a closing statement.

Your script will be emailed to the event organiser roughly two weeks before the event, and they will forward it on to you. This gives you time to print it, read through it, and get a feel for your character.

If you have any questions at all, simply pass them through the organiser and they’ll relay them to us. We’re here to help ensure you have a fun, memorable experience.

Your Event

We arrive early to set up, guide breaks and prizes, then finish with a smooth clear-down.

Before the event begins, we will arrive early to set up all our equipment and ensure everything is ready for a smooth and enjoyable evening. You are free to arrange the tables and chairs in whatever layout works best for your venue and guests.

During the event, there are usually two scheduled breaks: one for refreshments and another for everyone to complete their whodunnit sheets. This is the moment when guests, and even the suspects themselves get to make their final guess about who committed the murder.

At the end of the evening, we hold a light-hearted prize-giving ceremony, awarding one prize for the correct answer and another for the funniest or most imaginative guess. All volunteers who took part as characters will also receive a certificate as a thank you for their involvement.

Finally, please ensure some time is set aside at the end for clearing away, allowing the event to wrap up smoothly and efficiently.
